When monitoring your trades or analyzing historical data, you may notice that the time displayed in your MetaTrader (MT4/MT5) terminal differs from your local time. Below is a detailed breakdown of how the LBX server time works and why it is set this way.
What is the default time zone on MetaTrader?
The LBX commercial servers are synchronized with the Eastern European (EE) time zone. This is established by the server itself and it is not possible to change it from the platform of the client.
The server automatically adjusts throughout the year:
Winter: GMT +2
Summer: GMT +3
Can I change the platform time?
It is not possible to manually change the server time within the MetaTrader platform. This time is established globally at the server level to ensure that data, historical charts, and daily candle closes remain consistent for all traders across the LBX network.
