When you copy a Provider's strategy using the CopyTrading platform, you may need to pay a Performance Fee. This is the commission you pay to the Provider only when you make a profit from the trades copied into your account.
What Is a Performance Fee?
A Performance Fee is a percentage of the net profit generated from copied trades. The Provider sets this percentage when creating their Offer—it can be anywhere from 0% up to 30%.
You’ll see the exact fee percentage listed clearly before subscribing to any Offer.
When Is It Charged?
Weekly or Monthly: The charging interval depends on the Provider’s Offer settings.
Only on closed trades: You’re only charged for trades that were closed while the subscription was active.
No profit = no fee: If there’s no profit, there’s no Performance Fee.
Example
If a Provider sets a 20% Performance Fee and you earn $100 in profit during a billing period (weekly or monthly), you pay $20 to the Provider, and keep $80.
Transparency First
Before subscribing to any strategy:
Review the Provider’s Performance Fee rate.
Check the Provider’s ratings.
Choose Offers that match your goals and expectations.
