What happens to open trades when a follower unsubscribes?

When a Follower decides to unsubscribe from your trading strategy, a few important things happen:

First, they immediately stop copying any new trades you make. This means no new positions will be opened based on your future trades.

Next, any existing copied trades will be closed as part of the unsubscription process. This ensures that the Follower’s account is no longer linked to your strategy and that no open trades remain tied to your signals.

It’s important to know that as a Provider, you will only earn performance fees on trades that are closed while the subscription was active. Any trades closed automatically after the Follower unsubscribes will not generate performance fees for you.
